Upgrade components
Upgrade components can be added to armors, weapons trinkets, gathering tools and weapons. They offer an added benefit or effect when the equipment is being used. They can be purchased from vendors or other players, looted, obtained as rewards, or made by crafting materials. Upgrade items can be cosmetic effects, in addition to providing attribute bonuses.
Upgrade components include inscriptions, enhancements and infusions. They are generally not accessible for general use, and they can only be applied to Ascended equipment or other weapons from the Factions campaign. Infusions can be recovered and inscriptions from your equipment using an Extractor Device, or by salvaging with the Black Lion Salvage Kit or Ascended Salvage tool.
Unlike other upgrade items, Phoenix Boxes can be traded while connected to the item they are upgrading. They can be re-used after being reclaimed. These upgrade items are the most effective option to boost the quality of armor and weapons without spending Dilithium in the sense that they increase the odds of receiving a quality upgrade by two times.
An upgrade component placed within an item can be replaced by another but it is not able to replace the previous one (except for upgrades of legendaries and equipment that has been ascended). Upgrade components can only be added to upgraded items with an identification level of zero or higher. Adding an upgrade to an existing weapon equipped with a prefix or suffix upgrade will display the name of the resulting item in the same way as it appears in game (for instance adding an Radiant Insignia to Canthan Armor will cause it to be referred to as Canthan Armor of Minor Vigor). A player is limited to up to three upgrade items at a time.
Glyphs

Glyphs can be a valuable addition to any product, since they provide many unique benefits and boosts. Certain glyphs increase the number of affixes that an item has, which increases the power of the item. item upgrade can be obtained through completing dungeons. Some can even be located in specific World Tier 3 zones. It is important to note that glyphs are only available to players who have created a dungeon that has the same depth.
To use a Glyph first, you need to build it from components and connect them with anchors. Then, the component will automatically align itself to other components and paths within the same layer. If you don't wish to create the glyph from components, you can create it using a combination of paths and anchors. Then, drag an element close to an element highlighted to lock it in place.
Certain glyphs require certain conditions to meet, such as having 25 Dexterity or more in a specific area on the Paragon Board. Certain glyphs require a particular number of Primary Stat Nodes to be activated, which could be a bit difficult to achieve. Some glyphs have a radius that grows with each level.
Glyphs are available for various items, and are added to all weapons, with the exception for weapons of a particular class. Some of these glyphs have conditions, such as having a certain amount of damage from Dexterity or Attack in a specific area on the Paragon board.
The Defend Glyph boosts the chance of preventing enemy attacks by 5%. It also has a 15% chance to render the Hero vulnerable for 2 turns.
Some glyphs may also be applied to limited use tools, like the Black Lion Chest and Trading Post. These glyphs are counted towards the Combat Mechanic Achievement.
The most common glyphs in the game are the attack ones that increase Artifacts' ATK substats by a fixed amount. They are particularly useful for classes with a range, such as Warriors and Rogues. Other glyphs include the Exploit Glyph which makes enemies that hit the Hero vulnerable to damage.
Reroll tokens
Reroll tokens are special tokens that can be used to reroll one of the results that are rolled when performing an Action. After the reroll is completed they are discarded. Reroll tokens are obtained in a variety of ways, such as through raids, dungeons and skirmishes. They can also be purchased in the store or from other players. They are particularly useful in dungeons or trials since they allow players to roll the rewards of the final chest.
For items in the range of 1 there are values for recycling points. The upgrade gauge will grow by a certain number of points each time you recycle an item. This value is based on the rarity of the item and its level. The upgraded item also will not keep its level when rerolled and the cost for recycling an upgraded item rises as its level increases.
Another option is to make use of reroll tokens to reroll an upgrade item however this will not bring the item back to its original condition or provide the original stats. This is useful for players who want to reroll a piece of equipment that they don't love but want to keep in their collection.
There are three types of upgrade tokens in the game: reroll, random and upgrade. Each type comes with several subtypes. For example, reroll tokens come in three different levels: rare, enhanced and legendary. Each requires an item from the level of its respective to make the new item with that quality.
To use reroll tokens, right-click the Satanic or Angelic item in the inventory and select "Reroll Token". Then, select a kind of token. The available tokens are Item, Weapons, Misc, 1hguns, 2hguns, and Focus. The Item token can be used to create a new Item in any quality. Using a Weapon or Misc token will produce an entirely new weapon belonging to the same faction.
The item can be upgraded to a new item with the same stats but is at a higher level. This is likely to happen when the item is placed in the Pool that is not droppable or was transferred to it as part of the Franchise Card.
